Description: Dunstan Hill II opencast site, 1000 yd. N. 7 degrees W. Temple House Farm. Opencast coal series. Excavation by dragline. On this site there are two seams of coal - Top and Bottom Middleton Little - separated by fireclay and shale. The dragline rests on loose material dumped during the uncovering of the top coal. It is now uncovering the bottom coal.
