Description: Cremer Whiting and Co., workings in Brickearth and Gravel W. of Faversham - NW of Workhouse. Unsorted and unbedded gravel of Head type, associated with Head Brickearth. Gravel consists mainly of large battened but irregular flints from the Chalk tightly packed with a matrix of small bits of broken flint together with chalk pellets and other subsidiary ingredients such as Tertiary pebbles and Lower Greensand ironstone.
