Description: Swansea to Brecon Road at Pen-y-cae. Looking NE. Scarp features. Scarp features formed by the basal sandstones and conglomerates of the Millstone Grit Series. Tumbled blocks of sandstone conceal the junction with the Carboniferous Limestone which form the grassed-over bench and the steep wooded slopes.
