Description: Viewpoint, Burham Church Tower. Looking E. Chalk escarpment with subsidiary feature marking the outcrop of the Melbourn Rock. The topography is gently sloping in the Lower Chalk tract in the foreground and on the right, but nearer the wooded hills the Melbourn Rock forms a distinct platform outflanking the steep downs carved in the remainder of the Middle Chalk with a capping of Upper Chalk.
