Description: Station-yard, Frodsham Station. Looking W. The Frodsham Beds in the upper part of the Lower Keuper Sandstone are softer sandstones, indistinguishable in character and appearance from the underlying Bunter Sandstones. A section in these beds at Frodsham Railway Station showing a strong dip, in reality false-bedding; and intersected by oblique joints.
