Description: Blackbrook, Charnwood. Looking towards the E. and up the valley. View of Blackbrook Valley. Triassic marls originally filled the Blackbrook Valley which was largely cut in Triassic or pre-Triassic times. These marls have been removed by subsequent denudation, and the present outline of the valley is practically that of the Triassic period.
