Description: Viewpoint, above Cymmer Abbey, Llanelltyd. Looking WSW. The Mawddach estuary, from slopes east of Cymmer Abbey, Dolgelly. A well-glaciated valley, now silted-up. The rocks are mostly Lingula Flags dipping from right to left across the estuary; whilst the distant hills include some strata lower in the Cambrian System.
