This is a view taken by telephoto lens, and therefore is not quite so extensive as the last (A6496), whilst distances are foreshortened. The rough craggy ground of the Bronllwyd Grit is well seen on the left and Cwm Dur Arddu is conspicuous below the summit. All the high ground in centre consists of the Bedded Pyroclastic Series, including the fossiliferous ash of the summit. |
