Description: Llyn Llydaw, E. of Snowdon. Looking NNE. Llyn Llydaw, Snowdon Volcanics and moraines. The far end of the lake is embraced by the Bedded Pyroclastic Series of the Snowdon Suite, forming Tal-y-Llyn. This series includes some acid intrusions. Beyond the ridge are the Glyders on the far side of the Pass of Llanberis. In middle distance note the Glacial drift, with boulders and moraines beyond - one of which nearly cuts off the distant part of the lake from the remainder.
