Description: Pass of Llanberis. Looking NW. The Pass of Llanberis, looking down. View from near Pont-y-Gromlech, showing rocks chiefly of the Lower Rhyolitic Series of Snowdon dipping in general towards the observer and striking obliquely across the valley. Farther away are Gwastadnant Grits, Llandeilo and Llanvirn Slates and the higher beds of the Cambrian sequence. Note the huge tumbers of coarse ash on the right, and the moutonnees surfaces in light and shade on the left, covered with perched blocks. Llyn Peris in distance.
