Description: Pass of Llanberis. Looking WNW. The Pass of Llanberis, looking down. The view is taken a little lower down than A6485, and shows much the same features. The prominent crag on the left is due to a great sill of augite dolerite in the rhyolitic tuffs of the Lower Rhyolitic Series of Snowdon. Note glaciated floor and sides of valley, and modern screes on right.
