On the right is the scarped face of the Corallian, leading down to the low ground of the Oxford Clay surrounding the Swannery. On the left in the distance are prominent ridges of Corallian and Cornbrash, the latter projecting as a spur in the Swannery. Beyond is the Chesil Beach.
