Description: Baker's Farm Pit. Looking NE. High terrace (100' or Boyn Hill) palaeolithic gravels of the Thames at Farnham Royal. The terrace gravels are divisible into a lower series in which current-bedding is characteristic, and seams of sand frequent, and a higher unassorted mass of gravel with a clay matrix of the nature of Coombe Deposits. Palaeolithic implements occur in the lower part of the gravel marked in the view by seams of sand on current-bedded gravel.
