Description: Brotherwood's Gravel Pit, Wilmington. Looking E. Masses of Coombe Rock in unassorted coarse gravel - Wilmington. The Coombe Deposits have entirely replaced the bedded gravels and loams of the pit lying to the south (Smith's) and extend down to below the 50 ft. contour. Mammoth remains are common.
