Description: Viewpoint, Treginnis, SW of St. David's. Looking NNE. Doleritic intrusions of the St. David's Peninsula. 'Monadnocks' of intrusive rocks projecting above the ?Pliocene platform. The plain is carved in varied rocks, those in the foreground belonging to the Pebidian, the more distant Cambrian and Ordovician. Through these rise the basic intrusions of Trefeidden (centre foreground); Carn Llidi, Carnedd Lleithr and Carn Trelwyd, and Pen Beri (skyline).
