The arch middle occurs at the junction of the basal Cambrian conglomerate with the Pebidian. The red shales of the Caerfai Series crop out where the hedge meets the shore in the right middle distance. They are underlain by the green sandstone group, and overlain by the purple sandstone group. The beds are vertical or slightly overturned. |
