Description: Below Stonebarrow Hill, Charmouth. Looking NW. Cliff of Lower Lias (Black Ven Marls) Charmouth. Cliff formed of Black Ven Marls, furrowed into small ravines by rain action. The light-coloured capping to the cliff is formed of Upper Greensand and Gault. To the left is seen a long foundered mass that has broken away from the cliff and slipped seawards.
