Description: Sewerby, NNE of Bridlington. Looking N. Pre-glacial Chalk cliff, Sewerby, Bridlington. At this point the Chalk cliffs of Flamborough pass behind the mantle of glacial deposits which covers Holderness: the old line of cliff can be traced inland, by borings etc., through Beverley to the Humber. At the foot of the cliff are the remains of a pre-glacial beach and other deposits (see Nos. A5437 and A5438).
