Description: | Fairlight Cove, 500 metres SE of Fairlight Cove Hotel. Looking NW. Toe of landslip. Most of the cliff between 'Goldbury Point' and Fairlight Cove is landslipped; the movements being both rotational and of 'mud-flow' type. At this point marine erosion has cut a small cliff in the toe of a landslipped mass of 'Fairlight Clays' with angular sandstone blocks. The clays have been largely remoulded. |
