Description: 750 metres ENE of mouth of Ecclesbourne Glen. Shelly ironstone and 'Tilgate Stone' from basal Wadhurst Clay. Some loose slabs on the beach; the two on the left are clay ironstone with winnowed valves of Neomiodon, those on the right are of blue-grey 'Tilgate-Stone' with a seam of coarse quartz grit and ironstone pebbles containing occasional visible fish teeth and scales that are believed to be equivalent to the Cliff End Bone Bed of Cliff End (Pett Level).
