Description: Sill's Quarry, Pleasley Junction. Looking NW. General view. One of the largest quarries in the district in the upper part of the Lower Magnesian Limestones or Small Grained Dolomite. Note wedge-bedding. The stone is worked mainly for lime burning but contains large reserves of building stone available in large blocks.
