Description: Pett, 700 metres E. 40 degrees N. of Carter's Farm. Looking W. Section of Middle Ashdown Beds in old sea cliff. The exposure forms part of an old sea cliff facing eastward over Pett Level. Massive medium-grained, well-jointed sandstone is up to 3 m. thick and is overlain by thickly-bedded sandstone and mud flake conglomerate, infilling a minor erosional channel.
