Description: Rakes near Hartington, North Staffs. Looking S. Scenery at the margin of the Dinantian limestones south-west of Hartington, Derbyshire-Staffordshire border. The hills in the background are knolls of reef limestone of D1 age comprising, from left to right: Narrowdale Hill, Gateham Hill and Wetton Hill. Archford Moor in the middle ground is composed of Namurian shales and thin sandstones of E1 - R2 age (forms part of a panoramic view with L1199 and L1201.)
