Description: Dorking, 1/2 m. S. of Dorking North Railway Station. Looking WSW. Quarry in Folkestone Beds: western face. Brown and white sand, strongly current-bedded, with occasional irregular seams of carstone. This sand is extensively used for building purposes. The beds here are involved in an east-to-west anticline, and show a dip of 30 degrees north.
