Head, forming the upper part of the cliff in the right of the photo, overlying rounded pebbles and boulders of locally derived sandstone, slate and vein quartz of the conglomerate raised beach deposits, resting on the wave-cut platform of turbiditic sandstones of the Portscatho Formation, Gramscatho Group.
