Caption: St. Ives Head.
Description: St. Ives Head. Spotted adinole around greenstone. Greenstone (altered basic rock) in the lower right of the picture, has intruded slates top right. The pale grey colour and spotting of the slates results from contact metamorphism and sodium metasomatism by the greenslade which has converted them to adinole.
