Description: Pit in wood, about 3/8 m. N. of Oswestry Station. Looking E. Remnant of a glacial esker. North-west side of 'Old Oswestry'. Trenched and scarped as an ancient fort, its slopes are now heavily wooded. Beyond is the west end of another wooded hill, part of the same esker. Pit in Glacial Gravel. Pit in the gravel-hill next to the south of 'Old Oswestry'.
