Description: Stair Hole Cove, West Lulworth. Looking ESE. Marine erosion at Stair Hole Cove. On the right at the foot of the cliff Portland Stone and the massive Lower Purbeck Limestone have been breached by the sea which is making a cove in the softer Middle Purbeck Beds and is just reaching the Upper Purbeck and Wealdon Beds on the left.
