Description: Outlaw Gill Syke, near Keasden, Settle. Thin coal with seatearth in sandstone. The photograph shows the following section in the Roeburndale Formation: sediments: sandstone, fine- to medium-grained, micaceous, with abundant 2.50 m. (top plant debris, thinly-bedded and locally cross-bedded not seen). Coal shaly 0.05 m. Silty mudstone, dark grey, laminated with carbonaceous plant debris 0.10 m. Sandstone and siltstone (interbedded), micaceous, siltstones contain abundant plant debris, 0.25 m. Sandstone fine to medium-grained, micaceous ripple laminated top 0.80 m.
