Caption: Cold Stone, Catlow Fell.
Description: Cold Stone, Catlow Fell. Crossbedding in the Brennand Grit. The sutured weathering in the thickly-bedded, coarse-grained, pebbly sandstones highlights southwardly inclined foresets in the outcrop which dip 20 degrees to the north. The eastward continuation of the grit escarpment, at Bowland Knotts, is seen in the background.
