Description: Hammerton Hall, Slaidburn. Knoll-reef limestone (Chadian) at base of Worston Shales. Bedded crinoidal wackestones including two impersistent mudstone laminae (1 m. above hammer) pass upwards to massive wackestone of reef facies. The section is capped by crinoidal calcirudites.
