Description: Hammerton Hall, Slaidburn. Knoll-reef limestone (Chadian) at base of Worston Shales. Build up of massive crinoidal wackestones forms crag to left. This massive facies passes laterally into bedded wackestones, which are overlain by a sequence of bedded and massive facies, with impersistent mudstone laminae. The capping limestones to the right are crinoidal calcirudites.
