The Hardraw Scar Limestone (Early Brigantian) forms the scars at the top of the slope, where a lenticular crinoid bank is locally developed. The outcrop in the middle slope is again Hardraw Scar Limestone which has been displaced by a minor fault running obliquely down the slope. |
