Description: Blackriggs Quarry, near Settle. Hawes and Gordale Limestone. Hawes Limestone (early Brigantian) exposed in the quarry on the right of the photograph is downfaulted against Gordale Limestone (Asbian), which forms the pale crags on the left. The fault trends north-west and joins the South Craven Fault, which runs from left of the Gordale Limestone outcrop through the foreground.
