Description: How Steanbeck, near Lofthouse, Nidderdale. Looking WSW. The old and new aqueduct crossings taking water from Scar House Reservoir to Bradford are anchored to the beds of the Grassington Grit Group. Cross-bedding in coarse-grained sandstone is clearly seen in the stream to the left of the observer.
