Description: West Burton Waterfall. Looking SE. The Gayle shale (Dinantian) is seen in the undercut portion of the waterfall. The overlying Gayle Limestone consists of a lower well-bedded portion acting as fallmaker for the main fall. An upper massive portion is better bedded upwards.
