Description: Aysgarth Force. Looking W. Hawes Limestone (Dinantian). Strata adjacent to the highest waterfall have yielded abundant Linoprotonia dentifer. Girvanella nodules occur just above and below the shelly beds and constitute the 'Girvanella Algal Band'.
