| Description: | Periglacial head burying granite tors. The section shows 4.5 m. of undifferentiated coarse head with many large granite boulders up to 1.5 m. long axis. The largest blocks are to the right of the photograph and have broken from the tor on the right-hand side. The matrix of the head is largely coarse sand and the most sandy part of it can be seen at the base of the section on the left of the photograph. |
