Description: Minette dyke in Alderney Sandstone. A vertical minette dyke has been intruded into southerly-dipping Alderney Sandstone in the Val du Sud outlier. Note the three thin en echelon offshoots to the left of the dyke, and the pink baked xenoliths of porphyritic felsite in the centre of the dyke.
