| Description: | Rock platforms cut in the Cobo adamellite. The reefs in Cobo Bay are cut across highly jointed Cobo adamellite, but their summits form accordant levels at about 2 m. above half tide level. Residual masses project above the general level to form stacks in the sea. On land these residuals form tor-like features (at Grandes Rocques in the background) but they are in fact abandoned stacks associated with higher sea levels. |
