Caption: Upper Duddon Valley, Cumbria.
Description: Upper Duddon Valley, Cumbria. View of Upper Duddon Valley and Grey Friar from Hollin House Tongue. The view north-eastwards show typical glaciated Borrowdale Volcanic Group scenery. Seathwaite Tarn sits in the combe in the centre of the photograph with the summit of Grey Friar to the left. The valley from the tarn was truncated by the main valley glacier, the course of which is now occupied by the River Duddon.
