Description: Coire Ardair, looking across Lochan a' Choire towards the precipitous Coire Ardair cliffs on the east side of Creag Meagaidh, Inverness-shire. Dalradian Supergroup Grampian Group semipelitic schists exposed in the cliffs are cut by the gently dipping microdioritic sheets; the basal overhang seen above the lochan is due to the preferential erosion of one such sheet. The upper slopes are of Creag Meagaidh Psammite Formation, the lower slopes the Ardair Semipelite Formation.
