Description: Oblique aerial view of Broom Hill, Bawhelps, Angus. Dissected plateau in Dalradian rocks of the southern Highlands. The photograph is centred on Broom Hill slightly north-east of D05259 and has a north-west alignment. The crags of Bawhelps overlooking White Glen (right) at the head of Glen Prosen occupy the fore and middle ground with the crags of Monega Hill, snow-covered Glas Maol and the deeply incised Caenlochan Glen beyond. The snow-covered Cairngorm plateau is visible on the skyline. As in D05259 the theme of the photograph is the deeply dissected plateau, partly covered by wasting peat bog, which rises from around 700 m. in the foreground to over 1000 m. in the area of Glas Maol.
