Description: Oblique aerial view looking west from above the A82 at Tyndrum looking along Glen Lochy, a glacially eroded valley composed of Dalradian rocks. In the foreground are Dalradian schists with subhorizontal schistosity with peaks of Dalradian quartzite behind. The prominent peak in far background of Ben Cruachan granite, the second phase of the Etive Complex an elliptical composite pluton contemporary in age with the Glen Coe cauldron subsidence.
