Description: Oblique aerial view of Loch Glow in the Cleish Hills looking north, Fifeshire. Glacial moulding of the resistant quartz-dolerite sills. The effect of the large ice-sheets that covered this area was to smooth the outlines of the underlying topography. Glacial erratics originating from the Highlands have been found on the north shore of the loch. They indicate transport not only across Strathearn but completely across the Ochil Hills and the plain of Kinross.
