Caption: Brimham Rocks. [Settle Excursion.]
Description: The Idol Rock. This is the most wonderful of the weathered rocks in this group. Some persons have stoutly maintained that this was carved by the Druids from its peculiar shape but there is nothing to warrant it. It stands 20 feet high and 48 feet in circumference while its base rests on a pivot of only 12 inches in diameter.
