Caption: Ingleton. [Settle Excursion.]
Description: Southern face of slate in quarry near fault on Eastern side of the Ingleton or Dale Beck. These slates are far older than the Ordovician and from their internal evidence they wil no doubt be found to be one of the Precambrian groups, the Torridonian or Longmyndian.
