Caption: Ingleton. [Settle Excursion.]
Description: Northern face of quarry on the Eastern bank of the Ingleton or Dale Beck. The Ingleton Green Slates and Grits cover a considerable area on the floor of the valley of Chapel-le-Dale to the North of the northern branch of the Craven Fault. This southernmost band is continued into Kingsdale where it has been quarried on the Western side of the stream close to Pecca Bridge.
