Description: Section at St. Aldhelm's Head. Owing to the more rapid erosion by the sea of the softer Kimmeridge Clay beds the Portland stone has fallen in huge masses from the upper cliff forming a talus all along the beach. Added note: Portland Stone, Portland Sand.
