Caption: Radstock District. Clandown Quarry. Bristol Excursion, April 21st 1919.
Description: This quarry is in the Armatus and Jamesoni zones and consists of White Lias limestones overlaid by planorbis beds. The Spirifer bank and the conglomeratic and phosphatic band at the armatus raricostatus level are well marked and contain crinoidal remains and various marine fossils. The upper beds are on the Jamesoni horizon.
